Realising that there is a need to choose and pay for care can be a very difficult time for all concerned and you may find yourself asking lots of questions such as;
How do I know if I have the right service?
How do I choose?
What sort of questions should I be asking?
How much should I pay?
What should I be looking for?
Who needs to be involved?
Where can I find help?
These are just a few of the countless questions that may be going through your mind.
Please do not despair!
At Harlestone Home Care we are always happy to help. It doesn't matter if you are not going to use the services that we supply, we are happy to provide free support and advice to sign post you to the right people that will be able to deliver the services you require.
A good place to start is usually The Care Services Directory. This is a comprehensive guide to choosing and paying for care.
If you choose to look at the directory on the Care Choices website then you can zoom in to enlarge pages and you can print them off if you need to. You should also be able to listen using a "Browsealoud" compatible version.
Some of us prefer to have a paper copy enabling us to peruse the pages at our leisure. These are also available on request from Care Choices.
